Further sources of help
There are very few crisp and useful explanations about how co-production can support organisations to improve their practice in recruiting and retaining disabled people as well as serve them as customers. Most of the work in this field is also targeted at health and social care organisation. However, these sources of reading may help.
The New Economics Foundation
The New Economics Foundation manifesto shows how public services can play a strong role in co-production. It charts the development of co-production, its growth in the UK, and sets out a ten point plan.

National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA)
NESTA is an independent body with a mission to make the UK more innovative; try reading this publication – it focuses on public services but is good in describing the principles and challenges.
