Events

KNA deliver a unique programme of training courses and events each year - these are for Disabled Employee Network Leaders and Disability Champions, as well as interested parties. Our Talking Shop courses are designed to help new and established network leaders to develop their "know how" in running a network. Read more about our Starting Out and Stepping Up courses. The Time Out events are informal evening networking events.

We are currently finishing the spring 2012 - spring 2013 programme - email us for the full brochure which will be available from April 2012. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Talking Shop Event

Talking Shop event photoThese are our training courses for anyone running Networks or closely associated with the development of Networks. There are two types - Starting Out and Stepping Up. Starting Out is our ground-breaking Induction Programme for new co-ordinators of networks. Stepping Up is our tailored training programmes that tackle one aspect of running a network. The speakers and contributors to these events are UK experts in running purposeful Disabled Employee Networks.

Time Out Event

Informal networking photoThese are informal networking events run at the end of a day, usually over good wine and nibbles. These events are invariably good fun and have a learning twist - the amazing speakers and contributors give their time for free, and our sponsors generously host in delicious venues. We are looking for a host for Christmas 2012 reception.  We would love to hear from you.

Christopher Rawstron says:

It was a great pleasure to host a Time Out event. At InterContinental we have been on a journey of becoming disability confident for seven years and get our employees involved and excited through networks. By hosting an event we get to be part of thanking you for your hard working in keeping disabled employee networks vibrant and interesting for the organisations in which you work
